We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and found all the food we ordered to be delicious. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, it did take a while for our food to be served. However, our waitress was incredibly kind. She explained that the day was busier than usual and offered us some bread while we waited. She also kept checking on us. After we finished our main dishes, we asked for the dessert menu. To our surprise, our waitress brought us some ice cream with a happy birthday graphic and a candle on it. It was such a sweet gesture!
Good food, nice servers. Our group was there to celebrate 3 people's birthdays, we enjoyed the dishes very much. Their vegetarian menu is small, so I ordered 2 sides which are grilled tofu and confit carrot, but they were put together nicely and looked like one pretty dish. They also brought out 3 complimentary ice cream for us. The service fee is included in the book per resort's policy.
Our experience at Alderbrook Resort Restaurant was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, Manager Melissa went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 10, including two kids, ensuring we had a comfortable and seamless dining experience. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome. Our server, Michelle, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead with recommendations and making sure everyone had what they needed. The food was phenomenal, with fresh, delicious flavors that highlighted the quality and care put into every dish. The stunning waterfront views only added to the magic of the evening. A huge thank you to Melissa, Michelle, and the entire team for making our visit so special. Huge thank you as well to the bartender who went out of his way to share some marshmallows with our two daughters made it a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!
This is a favorite of mine! The staff is very friendly, food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are superb! If you live in Mason County, ask about their Local Advantage program!!
We stayed at the resort from Saturday to Sunday so had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Service was excellent, no wait time at any time. The view is amazing. Every single dish was delicious, except the Caesar salad (tasted like just water, needed more dressing). At breakfast we got a chef’s sweet bread to get started and OMG. And at dinner we also got another bread type paired with butter.
Fine dining is alive and well in Kitsap, and Alderbrook is one of the mainstays keeping that tradition alive along the Hood Canal. We came for brunch on a wintery Friday morning. While it isn't too hard to get a table in December, I'd strongly suggest reservations in the pleasant months. The service was top-tier. Upon seating we were immediately presented with a delectable (pumpkin?) bread plate - see photos. I had the salmon bagel and would have it again and again and again. Definitely add the avocado! Paired with a Rose wine, it was my favorite breakfast of 2024. We'll be coming back - there is much more on the menu I want to try! Olympic Otter
Lovely place to have a casual brunch or an upscale event. This place can fit your needs. It’s fall, so had to go with the seasonal offerings! Had a wonderful pumpkin martini. It was delicious. But the star was the French toast with the berry compote and mascarpone. It was decadent. Bacon was a tad overcooked for my personal preference, but not worth sending back. My bestie and I took a stroll around the grounds and sat outside with the fire catching up. Was a lovely place.
I had a great time with my husband for brunch. We loved the atmosphere and food. The staff was super friendly as well. I would revisit soon.
